Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine 3 tablespoons flour, thyme, rosemary,and pepper in a shallow dish. Coat chicken on both sides with flour mixture;shake off excess flour. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over mediumheat. Add ChicNSteakes; brown 2 minutes on each side. Remove chicken fromskillet and place in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in skillet; add mushrooms and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Blendin remaining 3 tablespoons flour. Gradually add chicken broth and wine; cook,stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Pour mushroom sauce evenlyover chicken. Cover; bake 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Uncover;top with cheese. Return to oven.and bake 5 minutes more or until cheese ismelted. Makes 6 servings.Variation: Substitute an additional 1/4 cup chicken broth for wine.
